BPM College is pleased to announce the winners of the BPMREMIX competition featuring Kutiman

Last month, we opened our international remix competition, BPMREMIX. The artist whose track was featured is Kutiman, one of the most successful Israeli artists active today.

Thousands of people from around the world entered the contest and downloaded the mixpack of the hit track “She’s a Revolotion”. We received Dozens of submissions by people who prepared eclectic remixes and gave their own interpretation to the original track. Kutiman and his team listened to all of them, and after a long week’s work he selected three winners. Here’s what he had to say about them:

 

First Place : Lexanda

“A surprising chill-esque version that takes the song to a new, different direction”

Lexanda wins:  Artist’s first record named “Kutiman”+ an MPD232 AKAI Professional courtesy of “Halilit” + a BPM College scholarship of 3,000 NIS.

 

Second Place : Omer Ran

“Funky wih special breakdowns, that beautifully makes use of elements from the source song, and eventually leads to a bumping 4-on-the-floor section”

Omer wins:  MPD226 AKAI Professional courtesy of “Halilit” + a BPM College scholarship of 2,000 NIS

 

Third Place : Yali

“Atmospherically-loyal to the original song, but with a refreashing twist with an emphasis on unique rhythms”

Yali wins: MPD218 AKAI Professional50 M-Audio Over-Ear headphones courtesy of “Haililit” + a BPM College scholarship of 1,000 NIS.
